adapting harley controls?
« on: August 29, 2010, 11:47:52 AM »
is it possible i like the look and layout of them but i am concerned about the wiring and dont know exactly how they work especially the turn signals i know they are designed for 1" bars but thats easily fixable. would like yo try it as my originals have looked better and harley takeoffs are so cheap. wondering if anyone has tried this, tried search but no luck.

Just keep both wiring diagrams handy while you verify everything with a test meter. Take lots of notes and when you're ready to swap the harley controls on, use the correct style connectors so everything fits like it should.

You can do it, just keep your stockers intact in case you ever have to go back.
