Speed King,

Do you have a gallery or a build thread. That thing looks GREAT!

Not really, here's a couple before shots. And I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

Haha- thanks RR. Since these pics were taken I've run new front braided brake lines & eliminated that plumbing you see here. And I'm also going to put Tarrozzi rearsets on it.

I forget, where did you get that seat?  Did you make it yourself?

PM Ricky Racer and he will hook you up. The seat mounts to the stock hinges. I also bought a solid upholstered hump seat from him as well, for my other 750. No pics yet though.

I love this 750. Not making light of the bike at all, but the simplicity from stock is in it's own way refreshing. The taillight and plate look so natural where they are. The seat that mounts on it's original mounts and opens like original. I was wondering what year it was. The "before" picture tells me it is a '72 or K2. I like it allot! You started out with a good looking K2, yet it appears if you wanted to turn it back to original, it would take little to do so. At least it appears that way.

Speed King, since you've gone to braided stainless front lines, you might want to check back with me for a set of our braided stainless oil hoses. We're out of stock in the US right now but I soon expect a half dozen or so sets from Nippon in Germany. You know where to find me!  And Thanks!  RR

Found a few pictures on my friends computer that I haven't see in a while. Shortly after I got my bike running. And of course... My favorite picture of my bike.
That's what I'd like to hear.

just got this: 1972 NORTON commando combat  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i bought it almost a few days ago with a blown head gasket, and it had been sitting against a fence under a tarp since 2001 when the head gasket went. repaired the gasket and fired it up yesterday... man, does it sound mean. ;D

ride the #$%* out of it.  ;) it's already cleaned up pretty well.. replaced a bunch of stuff already, but mostly things to make it functional. new tires, chain, fork stanchions, top end gaskets, carb kits, cables, etc. if it wasn't for the broken hand i'd be riding it as soon as the tank liner gets here... it's fiberglass, and it obviously sat for the past 9 years with what was a full tank. the ethanol ate right through the resin in the bottom. glass is intact, so tank liner should do the trick. SOB revs so beautifully...

I thought every classic bike 'barn find' in this town was snatched up a while ago.
Where the hell did you find that monster?
