another exhaust question 1978 CB750K

Hi there, I just purchased an exhaust set for my 78 CB750K8 off of ebay. According to the seller "They are bolt on for 77-78 or change out the spigots for 69-76 and use these". I finally recieved the set and they don't really look right to me. They certainly are not like the original exhaust that I pulled off of my bike. So are these for a 77-78 CB750? Maybe an F or A model? Any help would be appreciated as I might have to send these back. Thanks in advance.

Oh and by the way, here is a picture of the set that was on the seller's eBay auction. Now I admit that my eyes are getting weak, but I'm thinking that the pictures are not of the same set that I received?

I'd contact the seller and tell them that they sent you the wrong pipes. Also, they are not for an F model.

The set you got is for the 76 or older that uses the spigot, they slip right on,definitely different than the ones pictured which would be the 77-78. Good luck getting it sorted out and the correct ones to you.

If you paid with Paypal, file a claim right away. If the seller comes clean on the error, you can cancel the claim.

the ones in the ebay photo's are difinetly from a late model Cb750 and the ones you recieved are from a 69-75 exhaust pipes they are supposed to be used with exhaust spigots...
