You should be able to follow the url iggy gave you. Jests just say it is a rope between to canyon walls and you have a rope around you and it is tied to about the middle of the crossing rope. You leap off and fall and then your rope reaches its end and you #$%* your pants and start swinging back and forth.
Kinda like a modified bungie jump ;D

what a dumbass. ok i might have become a little more cautious as i've gotten to middle age but i dont think that even on my worst day, i would do something so damned crazy. i hope the stupid bastard has life insurnace so his next of kin arent burdened with his funeral costs.

From the heights they are falling they can only do that about 5 times maximum on that dynamic rope, then the rope is toast.

Oh, you could jump more than 5 times on that rope but no sane or smart person would.
