Like it was said before the market will determine what the bike is worth unless they yank it.

A lot of people bag on Carpy but he gave me some inspiration on what I wanted to do with my bike.

Carpys site was the 1st one I ran into as well. I took it all in and copied his style on my 1st bike.  As was said before I found this place afterwards and saw what a little more imagination could do.
Yup, mine says "Cafe" on the tank, its a bit cheesy in retrospect, but as my 1st attempt I still love it,  ;D

Well it looks like there's a lot more dollars in that beast than in Carpy's bike mate, so it's gotta be worth at least $52K? Hey what brand back wheel is that, I was given one in 18 inch last week, for free! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks Jon, I replied to your email, hey, what version is your ARD magneto, a MK3 electronic or MK4 points? I've got a Mk3 electronic on EBay for sale for a Kawasaki Z1 at the moment (#140380048300) and I've got a couple of Z1 Mk4's in boxes, but I might keep just one and modify it to suit my 1060CC engine, they look Uber-Cool! ;D

Are you effen kidding me?  I just got an e-mail from the owner of this bike (also owns Old Bike Barn) that was sent to all of his prior customers.  He included a bio about the bike as well as the e-bay link.  Apparently, he is embarking on a gorilla advertising campaign to sell his bike.  That just seems cheap and arrogant to me.  Why does he think that my act of purchasing from him gives him the right to sent spam like that to my mail?  I don't care what his the "rules" might say, I just think it is trashy.  So, he's out!  I'm officially cutting him off my "purveyors" list.

IHMO,
a bike in this price section should not have painted bolts and silver sprayed rubbers.

It also shouldn't have points

I got a response from his e-mail server saying I had to register for my e-mail to not be considered spam.  Does this sound ironic to anyone else?
