Frankly I thought that asking about tyres would be like asking about OIL?

Come on folks, there must be more opinions/guidance out there?!
This is where the rubber meets the road...
What tyres should I be looking today at to get an original look and the best ride like Honda intended for my restoration bike?
Should they be tubed or tubeless? Should I stick with the factory sizes? What about tread patterns?
Reasonable cost should also be a consideration.
I've never mounted a motorcycle tyre before. Should I have the dealer do this or could/should I attempt it?
I carefully read the instructions in the FAQs for truing the rim and spokes and I think that I will try to do that. But what about dynamic balancing? Is this normally part of mounting a new tyre service like it is with car tyres?
