I will tryto run batteryless but with the electric speedo I will have to come up with something so it doesnt loose its memory. May be as simple as a 9v battery . If that doesnt work I will get one of the very small batteries they make for choppers and customs . I will then attach that under my seat pan.

I love the way the exposed charging system looks except for the brown epoxy coating on the stator. A little scotch bright and some black paint should fix that though.

As always thanks for looking at my little project and thanks for the compliments.

Sure looks like a nice little racer!

Appreciate the pics!

On the spacer for the fork stem....good idea!  I figured if I did it myself one day, I'd just have a machine shop mill down the stem to work, but you were able to space it out!

Naming it the Crotch Bobber has been worth it just for the jokes alone.

Thanks for the compliments so far. I hope to have it completed before the end of July. After the carbs are done I just have the seat and wiring to finish.

I will post some pics once I am done polishing the float bowls and get the carbs put back together.

I was just getting ready to post some new pics. Progress has been slow but its almost done. I have made a few shake down runs. It still needs to be fine tuned which I will be taking care of on Thursday. I scheduled some Dyno time at the local bike shop. That said it will do a Ton pretty easily. The last thing I need to do is make my seat cover which I hope to finish up this weekend.
