First ride of the year and a new bike book!
« on: March 09, 2007, 08:14:32 AM »
I just finished reading Riding with Rilke by Ted Bishop, which I would recommend to anyone. He rides a Ducati but really the book is about his love of riding and reading. Anyway, reading the book really made my itchy for a ride, its been 6 months of snow here. Sunday forecast is for 19 degrees! (thats around 70 for you Americans). First ride of the season coming up. I'm stoked!

Considering the tales I hear from the Aussie men, I expect you all to be running.  But, if you just tossed beer at them, I can imagine you could easily out distance them by simply walking.

I took the CB750 out for the first ride of the 2007 season today.
Was in the upper 50's, and besides dodging the puddles (no fenders), was a good time.
A few of my buddies are getting together tomorrow (said to be around 60) for alittle bit of a  "dust off" run, project "Junk" and I are ready...
