is my 1976 cb 550 an F or a K?

how can i tell?  i don't have the title and i can't seem to find it on the bike.

If you post the frame number from the headstock we can tell you.

  If it is a76', it is a "K" from what I can find out as the serial numbers start CB550-1230001. The 76' "F" 
stars out CB550F-2000003 I hope that helps.  Bill
