I'm glad that show is going. I hate all those gaudy bikes that cost more than all the cars I've owned put together, the egos and the ugly, gaudy bikes. Did I mention I didn't like the bikes? Owning one of those bikes is like having a bunch of flash tattoos. "Hey, look at me! I have this so people think I'm cool and could care less about what it really is, as long as people think I'm cool." Status symbol, Poser bikes for posers. Sorry, but that's how I see these gaudy, status symbol, flash bikes.

Rick is the real talent in that shop. His fab skills are fantastic. A show with him & Vinny is what I would have liked to see.

Leno's OCC chopper

Eating my words because that looks nice and way more low key than their other bikes I've seen.

the stewart-haas racing bike.

hard tail, raked the eff out, superbike bars, and mid controls...
I think it needed rearsets (which I don't think the Teutles have a concept of) a more streetable short rake, and a lower set of down tubes.

only pic I could find... but it doesn't match detail wise.

Honestly, my first thought when I saw the title was, "It's still on?"  I watch a fair amount of Disc Network shows and can't remember the last commercial I saw for it.  Huh.  Well, I guess you can assume that this news is not distressing to me.   ;D

I was told they were iron fence makers before the bikes, if you want to call them that. The show was a joke, the bikes were never the focus, and there was a reason for that, they were crap. Builders like Indian Larry (rip), Ken @ Cycle X, Irish Rich, those guys bild for the love of it and it shows.

They were always on the East Coast. Orange County is on the West side of the Hudson River. The old man was born in Yonkers Ny. He opened up the Orange Iron Works which he sold to the oldest son who also doesn't speak to him. He built bikes on the side and was a A Hole then. They were in Rock Tavern NY which was 5 miles from nowhere, I kid you not I know the area. Now They are in Newburgh NY which has a higher crime rate than the South Bronx per capita. I think he got some state money for job development.

Even though i'm not the "Chopper" sort of guy, I ki nda enjoyed the Biker Buildoff, because, after they were finished, they had to RIDE them. Shame they don't do a "Cafe" buildoff! ;)  Remember the bike that ElCheapo built! Or did he do 2? ???

Beautiful shop they have put up, the front facade looks like a sculpture of their logo.  I bet the glass wall cost quarter of a million.

I always thought the Paul sr. vs jr. stuff was over played, though amusing. I quit watching about the time they moved to the new shop.

I always got a good laugh watching some corporate stiff make a big deal about showing one of those stupid looking theme bikes to his employees.  a virtual Dumb and Dumber act going on.  The NYFD show was disturbing, I hate to see people making profit on the backs of the guys who run into burning buildings.

"OCC, the END of an ERROR !!".......754..

The Leno bike, one of the few things they did right was the pipes.. they missed most of the point of the bike they were supposed to use for inspiration..

I saw when the delivered it, Leno had a hard time not showing his obvious dissapointment.. ;D, but he recovered quickly and was gracious towards them...

I did not watch that show a lot, maybe 6 episodes..

.......................................................................................
Funniest story, they wanted to buy a front end from a local builder but he didnt sell them one.. he said, I really dont want one of my forks on one of their bikes... LMAO... ;D

.......................................................................................
The one guy on the Build or Bust show..Russel's winger, we met him a few times at Bonneville, Old Scrambler and I  were there a lfew times when they were working on the bikes.. got a really cool pic of him, holding his time slip with his fastest run.. 177 I think........he looked pumped..

Can't say I'll miss it too much, their bikes were mostly #$%*.

I think I figured it out.

the bikes they put together were caricatures of real bikes, like when you go to a carnival and some dude draws you looking like a jack ass with some sort of foot ball for a nose and a pointy head.

so they're carnies... with wrenches.
everything I say is pure speculation and
