350 f 400f seat interchangeability
« on: February 10, 2010, 03:31:32 PM »
Anyone know if the seat pans on the 350 and 400 are interchangeable? (I don't care if the cover pattern is the same)

Any other seats that fit 350 f including twins?

Any threads on the subjects?

By re-drilling the bracket holes on a CB550 seat, I was able to get it to fit just about perfectly on my CB350....it's not right, but will work until I can score a 350 seat.

350F and 400F seats are interchangeable.  I don't think the others will fit without slight mods though.

350F and 400F seats have significant differences. Bracket spacing is different.  Since the 400F tank is longer than the 350F tank, adapting a 400F tank to a 350F chassis will leave a gap at the front....going the other way won't physically fit.
