Topic: Jets for a '73 CB350G (where to buy and what size?)

So I'm new to the whole motorcycle thing and just bought a nice looking 1973 CB350.  It's in good shape, but doesn't seem terribly happy about idling below about 1800rpm.  The ignition system looks to be in good shape, though I haven't actually checked it all yet.  The owner said he hadn't rebuilt the carbs, so I figured this would probably be a good thing to do.  So I bought a rebuild kit on eBay.

I haven't torn anything apart yet, but I also bought the service manual which claims that the jet sizes should be:

Primary #78, Secondary #105 and Slow jet #35.

The kit I bought has a #115 secondary and a #38 slow jet.  The primary just says "2.2" on it, so I have no idea if it's the right one.  The other bits in the kit look to be right.  So two questions:

1) Do I have the right size primary, or how do I find out?
2) Where do I buy the other two jets in the correct size?  All the kits I can find that specify seem to come with 115 and 38.  I live at 6,500ft above sea level, so it seems like the last thing I want to do is make it run even more rich!

Er, the "2.2" thing is the float valve, not a jet.  Yeah, I'm brilliant:)  So the kit didn't even include a primary main jet.. is that because those usually don't need replacing?

     Your jets do not need to be replaced. They need to be cleaned. This assumes that the jets are original and have not been drilled out. The jets in your carburetors should match the one called for in your manual.

don't hesitate to use the new o-rings in the jet kit. It really sucks to put it all back together and have leaks.

Suppose I can find o-rings for the primary jets that weren't included in the kit?

I had a tough time finding replacements for a friend's 350. A local bike shop has some that worked. No one else came close.

The jets that were in there:

Primary #68, Secondary #100 and #35 slow.  Not sure if that's what came in it or not, but it seems like a #100 secondary at this elevation is a good thing.  I don't know the history for the bike prior to the guy I bought it from who just had it for a year prior to selling it to me, and hadn't touched the carbs.  I suspect the previous owner was from this area as well and jetted it for the altitude...

Of course the o-ring on one of the primary jets was trashed.  Couldn't find anything local, but this appears to be the correct size, in case anyone else is looking...

     The listing for the CB350G shows the primary main at 78. The listing for the CB350 K4 shows the primary main at 68. Both use the the type 722A carburetor and outside of the disk brake are very similar. My CB350 K4 had a 68 primary main in the right carburetor. I will see about the left today. My guess is that the listing of a 78 primary main for the CB350G is a misprint.
     When I cleaned the carburetors on my CB750F1 I checked the jets in one carburetor. After running it awhile I decided some thing was not right. So I took the carburetors apart again and the carburetor that I checked was the only carburetor with the correct jets in it.
