is there a smaller demension battery i can use for a 1980 cb750???

Does the 1980 model have a kick starter mate? Depending on how small you need it, the battery might not have the "oomph" to spin the engine over? If it's got a kicker, any 12 volt battery should be fine to fire it up and look after lights and stuff, as long as your electrical recharging system is ok. Cheers, Terry. ;D
