Topic: International Motorcycle Show

Anyone going to the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland?  I'm planning on going Saturday (Jan. 28).

Novi MI. 1/6 - 1/8, today tomorrow Sunday. I'm trying to go tomorrow. I think VJMC will be there.


Update - New facility in Novi. The MC show is VERY popular on a gloomy Michigan Saturday. Not enough parking or entrance/exit drives. Not quite as crowded as auto show, though. No prototypes at Honda or anywhere else, I was looking for the Honda prototype in the recent RoadRunner mag. They had the Air Bag Gold Wing, thumb shifter Yam FJR, gorgeous 76 Laverda DOHC 750, Beemer line is looking better (younger), Man-that VStrom is tall, I got Mrs D on a Duc, Buell and a Busa , but she said she liked the scooters better . Honda man said most show bikes are incomplete, don't run, and go to crusher afterwards.

Anybody going to New York Jan 20-22? Would be nice to crash the party with a bunch of rowdy SOHC nuts. Let me know - I'll probably day trip it from Allentown with my twin second grade boys. I'll need plenty of beer to combat the hyperstimulation - theirs and mine!

I didn't give it a thought until you posted here and didn't reply previously because I thought that I HAD to be out of the area at that time. Things have changed and I would consider going. I need some kind of diversion now. PM or email me as we get closer to the date.

I've got my SOHC4 t-shirt all washed and ready for the show.  I'll be there on Saturday from about noon until ..?  If anyone is there at that time, and you see a dork with an SOHC4 shirt, make sure you say "Hello"!
