1972 Kawasaki H2, what its worth...
« on: February 14, 2010, 07:14:13 AM »
So i ran across a 1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV 750 while surfing CL looking for any old 2 stroker bike. i bet this H2 would be fun! any idea what the going rate would be for one? i'm guessing too rich for my blood.

"I have a 1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV 750. It belonged to my father and has just over 9000 original miles on it. The only thing that is not original on this bike is the front fender. Because for some reason Dad thought it looked better with a chrome one.
If you are looking for one of these bikes to restore you have just found it. The bike is almost pristine condition. If you are a serious buyer and want some Pictures or see the bike please contact me. I will sell the bike to the highest reasonable offer.
We all know what this bike is worth.
Thanks "

I just sold a non-stock 1974 H2 and a few bits for nearly $12,000 yesterday. If it's original and in just decent condition - $8~10,000 US easy.

Now a word of wisdom - parts are also as high as the finished product. I sold a re-wound stator for $585. A decent seat will go for $700 or more. Just be sure what you want.....I've restored 8 triples and kept 6 of those. While fun, I'd rather ride my Honda.
