Gearing calculator
« on: February 20, 2010, 03:36:43 PM »
Found this while I was trying to decipher what was up with the sprockets on my bikes:  www.gearingcommander.com/

It has a preset for a 75/76 CB360.  I checked my chilton book and the same rear tire size is listed for the CB360 as the tire on my 350F (3.50x18).  I'm guessing someone smarter than me knows that equates to 88.9/100x18.  Anyway, from there you punch in the gear ratios and a chart pops up with the speed in it.

Heh, not quite.  It's telling you that if your bike could push that gear to that rpm, that's how fast you'd be going.

Fourth gear around your torque peak should be closer to your top speed.
Take care,
David
