Topic: best friend at 34 had a heart attack yesterday

Hey All,
Just wanting to type something about it.
he just turn 34 last week block secondary valve or something. He lives 10 block from the hospital and his roomate was home. He was cooking dinner for a few friens and sat down about 300 and said he feels really wierd and the went to the hospital. He had a stint put in and is doing much better.

Wow!  Sorry to hear that, Paul.  I hope things are going to be okay for him.  It's scary to hear something like that happening to somebody who's the same age as I am.

   Got me to thinking, at that rate (34yrs old), I'm almost double that and nothing yet (so far)!

My buddy had a similar situation at a similar age probably brought on by acute cocaine use. After replacing 5 coronary arteries, he's been in fairly good shape for the last 20 odd years, although there is some talk now about redoing the grafts.
I hope your friend can change his life style enough to keep on keeping on. He's lucky to have a friend like you that cares.

MY Nephew had a heart attack at same age. They think is was partly caused by Chantix that stop smoking drug. The Cardiologist says they are seeing a lot of that.

He is going to make a full recovery.

Just back from hospital. He is doing well and now has to change his diet. Doc said no more bacon. Man is he upset at that. He loves his bacon.

Funny thing is him and his friend where wondering why is cat was following all morning and meowing out of contect. he had food and water.
They think the cat could tell something was wrong.

wow thats young to have a heart attack. with my size and almost non existent activity level i really have to watch out. my cholesterol is back below 175 though and i dont have to take bp meds anymore.
