large socket sizes

what are the sizes for the axle nuts and the stem nut. i dont have a metric caliper to measure and i dont want to play the buy and try method.

Try to get 6-point sockets even if you have to go to impacts.  12-points can round off soft metal heads, especially if they are stuck.

No I don't think so.  There are 3/4 inch drives out there, but 3/8 and 1/2 inch are much more common.
