in theory... some wiring questions

so im thinking of running internal wiring on my new superbars.... what is the lightest guage of wire i could use to run my wiring esp the high low and turn signals..... do they make higher grade wiring that is thinner but still can handle a substantial amount of amps... or in physics is copper copper and can only allow so much amperage?...... i look foreward to ur responses...... the reason i am  curios is im trying to internalize all wiring and cables so i thought minimization is the key to this feat

use wire at least as thick as what is used in the factory harness, too thin a gauge of wire, too much resistance, too much heat

are you using the factory controls? factory wiring conf? If you use relays, you can use disgustingly thin wire for the relay "trigger" and standard "factory" guage wire from relay to load (aka lights, starter, whatnot). And copper is pretty much the same across the board.

How about solid silver or solid gold wires. They would have lower resistance. ::) ;D :D
