66 cb450 worth $500
« on: February 21, 2010, 12:15:40 PM »
ok guys found a 66 cb450 in my town for sale. it doesnt run needs points was running last year untill the throttle cable broke. the bike doesnt have the orginal tank, doesnt have side covers. the fenders are chrome. the story goes that some guy in the 70's tried making it a custom by puting drag bars on it and changed the fenders and tank. so later down the line the guy who owns it now. grandfather bought it and tried to put it to orginal but used all later cb450 parts. my question is it worth $500 in ok shape with out these parts. it will need to be restored i know there geting hard to find but i dont have the cash to restore it right off the bat. thanks ryan

If funds are limited, that's the wrong project.
You're thousands of $$ away from anywhere with that bike....
