Replacing 400F fuel line
« on: August 14, 2016, 09:52:46 am »
Using more line than needed, coat the carb end with a few drops of Armorall to soften  Remove the clamp on #2 carb top to get it out of the way. Run a piece of stiffer wire (I used a heavier piece of coat hanger) through the hose and about an inch out the other end. Feed the wire into the carb inlet, pushing the line back and forth onto the inlet. May need to push the last 1/8th inch with your fingers. Slide wire clamp all the way down the hose and over the end with a screw driver. Reinstall the clamp on the  carb, pull out the wire, cut line to length. 15 minute installation.
