Amazed with this forum!
« on: February 22, 2010, 10:56:44 AM »
I have been scouring the internet for information, parts, pics, and anything else related to my CB750's.  There are a few good sources here and there, but when I stumbled across SOHC4Forums, WOW!  Within minutes I found links to Carb rebuild kits 50% cheaper than anything I'd found before, do-it-yourself soda blasters, velocity stacks, and hundreds of SOHC die-hards all over the globe who could answer any question I ever had.  I am proud to be a member of this forum and hope that I can make some meaningful contributions of my own.

My bikes right now include a '77 CB750K digger that is currently down with a cracked frame and a '78 CB750F project bike.  My first bike was an '83 Yamaha Virago which actually was a great started bike.  That was followed by an '84 Honda Rebel 'cause the wife wanted to learn to ride (made two trips around the block and decided that she would rather be a passenger.)  Both of these were sold with the intent to buy a rigid frame for the '77 K.  Well, a mortgage here and a wedding there, and the money was gone.  Ebay selling has helped me to make enough money to complete that one and start on the '78.

In the gallery I have posted pics of both of my bikes and also of my Dad's Z900 and two KZ1000's ( I know they are DOHC's, but they are still cool and inspiring to me.)

Thanks again!

Welcome to the site!

Throw us a link to your gallery page, I can't find it digging through the gallery index.

I've fixed the html in your signature - if you go look you will see what I have done.

Welcome Digger! Your Dads KZ1000 is amazing! Does he still have it? I also like your 78 chopper - very nice work.

Thanks SteveD!  I'm better with a wrench than a mouse.

No Andy, unfortunately he doesn't have them anymore.  He went down hard and hasn't been back on a bike since around 1988.  He is a wealth of information for me though.
