Frame Differences

I'm new.

Were there differences in frames?  Will the tank and side covers from a '76 fit a '78?

Yes, I understand.  Trying to strike a balance between spending my time and wasting yours.  On another forum related to cars, this same question has a hundred pages of answer (chassis differences over the years).  I suspect these SOHC frames changed little, if at all.

I am acquiring a 1978 CB750K, and I wonder if an earlier tank and side covers would fit.
