Just how much does a 750 K motor weigh?

I am in a spot to come up with a weight total for this monster as I need to ship it. I have it posted on eBay and now put myself in a pickle.

750K engine package runs about 180lbs.

carpy's always #$%*ing about how heavy they are...i know he mentions the exact weight two or three times in one of his "cafe's i've built" section...  :D

Got off my lazy butt and walked across the room for a parts list. It states the weight as 176.3 lbs. including oil.

Ok that works for me. Now I know at least what the heck to tell the shipper in the morning. My guess is that I will get a freebee pallet and toss it on the trailer to take to the shipper for details. My guess is ratchet strapped and shrink wrapped will do the trick. Now just to find someone who will ship it. I have never shipped anything over 100 pounds. This comes in just 25 pounds over the UPS limit.

ups will ship oversized but i think the limit is around 150 lbs or so.if you have central transport in your area try them,they give us real good rates here at work

You got a local truck stop near you?  Might be able to find an independent that would take it.
