Well after the Tiger, which isn't the most rapid bike on the market, the bonnie just felt bland. Quiet, not zippy enough. But, as I said maybe they set them up different for the us market. The Tiger is pretty much point and squirt, whilst the Bonnie was point............and wait.

I think the Thruxton recently got slightly higher bars, so maybe you should sit on one and see how you like it.  The T100 is beautiful, especially in person.  If it were me I'd get the Scrambler, but that's based mostly on looks.  I wouldn't take it anywhere more extreme than a mild dirt road.
My father has a Bonneville America, and while I hate the ergos and handling of a cruiser, I do like riding it.  The new Triumph twin is a sweet engine.  Plenty of power from almost any RPM.  The America has the 270 crank, and I think the power band might be a little lower.
Fit and finish is top notch on dad's America.  The paint and chrome are beautiful and shine up nice.
Problems: His needs brake pads and a disk (after 18k miles, not the longest life).
It also needs a CDI, which is expensive ($600), but I'm not sure how common failure of those is.  Initially the dealer thought it was an air/fuel problem, so they removed the air injection or something, but it still ran crappy.  But don't let it scare you, I haven't heard of too many of those failing.  It's probably because he washes his bike with too much water pressure!
Go ride all three "modern classics," if they'll let you.  They're great bikes and I think you would really enjoy one.  If you can swing it, keep the Honda though!

the thruxton has clipons and rearsets out of the factory, it's riding position reminded me of when i had rearsets and adjustable tomaselli bars on my k4750

I love my '07 Bonnie..... Plenty of power for me and has taking me on 500 Mile Roundtrip riding 2 up without issue.  Had to get the king/queen seat for the longer trips though.

I just brought home my new 2010 BonnevilleT100 on Saturday and after 100 miles this weekend, I don't regret it.

I'll have to put in a few long rides to determine if I want to upgrade the seat (thinking about the gel seat), although so far it's been comfortable. I might also get the Norman Hyde Western bars, as they have a bit more rise and width to them (similar to the CB750). I've the the Hyde Toga silencers and they sound really nice.

The only thing I don't like about it (this is personal preference) is that the header pipes blue so easily. On the older carbureted models you could remove the secondary air injection (which causes the exhaust to run much hotter) and keep them looking nice, but with the EFI model if you remove the AI the check engine light will stay on and there is no workaround ECM program for that yet.

I admit I am a true blue vintage Honda buff...but that T100 sure is a nice looking bike.
