the original Comstar wheels that came out in '77 were all silver "non-reversed" spoke wheels. Then in '81 or 82, Honda switched all of the COmstar equipped bikes over to the black, reveresed spoked wheels. There are no real advantage or disadvantages to either design. I think that it was simply a cosmetic reason for the change.
Most any front Honda wheel from the early 80's can be used to replace your bent silver one. Some came 18", some were 19" and there was a selection of widths. I would be surprised if the bearings for each and the required axle diameters weren't the same on all of the wheels. Honda is pretty good about using matching parts across model lines. All of hte Comstar wheels to my knowledge used a five bolt front brake rotor. There might have been a few hub designs on some of the smaller bikes that won't take double rotors, but I honestly can't remember. There's a member on here in Denver who has a couple of 19" front black spoked Comstar wheels that he's trying to get rid of. Post an ad in the "wanted" section
