resistance across solenoid?
« on: March 01, 2010, 01:19:03 AM »
I had to dig  in to my solenoid to my starter solenoid to solder a wire back to the coil.

Seems like I got I fixed, but I was curious if anyone knew what is typical for resistance value across the coil.

Mine is around 9 ohms after the patch.

The real test is to hook it up and see if it works. If it clicks, you're probably ok.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
