i saw a xs 650 engine on craiglist i was thinking i might have some extra carbs off a 73  750 laying around... how tough would it be to rig them to work with this engine..... diameter aside like i realize they would need a major rejetting but would they be way too small or what.... just your genereal thoughts please

OK, general thought... NO.. Asside from the 650 being a twin, & the 750 a cripple, the games to be played trying to fit/jet arent worth the effort. while ( in my humble opinion ) The XS 650 is the best English twin never built, It's head 's ability to flow is probly its biggest flaw, & doesn't gain much w/ carb work. my 2 cents G

i should have clarified that the 73 is a cb.....is that the cripple ur meant?
