egli type cb400f frame
« on: February 26, 2010, 04:26:50 PM »
anyone have any procedure tips for doing an egli type frame for a cb400f?  I had a lucky meeting which led to me being able to use a steel fab shop, so I've got all the tools but now am looking for advice from someone who may have done this before.  Part of my idea was to model the engine in autocad and build the frame in cad first, the other idea was to build a jig for the engine and build the frame around it using levels and jigs

If you go to the Yahoo CB400f group site there is a drawing of the engine with main dimensions.

also there are pdf articles of Rick Denoon's build
