Thanks Tom, I'd be interested in seeing that. I think I've just worked out why I often despair at younger members who tend to (in my tiny mind) "Diss" this iconic marque by way of horrible mods like upside down forks and electronic fuel injection etc to try to turn them into the modern bikes that they really want but can't afford, due to the fact that they weren't there back in 1969 to see, and be part of this incredible revolution, they don't value them like we "old farts" do.
I wasn't old enough to own one until 1978 (although I was lucky enough to have a several older friends who were happy to let a kid ride on the back of theirs) but I was smitten with them from the first time I laid eyes on one. Don't get me wrong, I like all bikes, and over the last 32 years I've owned several BMW's, a Ducati, a Harley, a Laverda, a Kawasaki and a Yamaha, and I've got a Triumph Rocket III and 3 Suzuki GS1000's in my garage presently, but none of them have affected me like the mighty CB750. I seriously doubt if any other motorcycle in the future, will have the same impact on the world as the original "fat four".
