Jeff, IF I was in the need of a project AND IF I could swing it along with having to find a rear Comstar, I'd try to get it from you for my '80 CB750K. BUT, since I already have too many projects and things could get tight soon as I get around to filing my taxes, I might be putting some things up for sale myself. ::)   Sorry, just thinking outloud. :-\

                           Take care, Bill ;)

Gotta go fix some hamburgers, temp in in the 50's! ;)

I had PLANNED to do the burgers on my grille, but when I got out there, after making up about 15 patties, the grille was out of gas. ::) So, with it being time for Supper, I ahd wanted to get one of those griddles and see about doing them on the stove, when weather was bad. So, I went to WalMart (about a mile and a half down the road, got me a griddle and cooked about 6 of them on the stove, so Karla and I could eat. Tomorrow, I'll pick up a fresh bottle of propane, when I go for some other things and fix the rest of them right, with BBQ sauce and seasonings. ;) You see, I had not used that grille since just before Brenda passed away. Karla had been missing my hamburgers. Throughout the year, my grille usually gets a workout pretty regular, doing hamburgers (sometimes with baked beans), hot dogs, steaks, pork chops, chicken patties and just whatever I manage to cook out there. Brenda and Karla have always appreciated and enjoyed whatever I cooked up on the grille. And I have never regretted learning to cook things, which grew into me cooking more and more things, as the years went by. At first I was cooking things to go with the meals, then I was cooking more things for the meals, then I was cooking some of the meals, and for the last 2 or 3 years, I have cooked ALL of the meals (including the Holiday meals, with Brenda's help with some of the details)    Sorry, didn't mean to go on like that, I just started talking and the words just continued to flow. ::)

sure of use to a '79 cb650 owner....
:)

Hey bucky katt, while I got your eyes, those 65mm pistons aren't 65mm...
Thought they were, but they are actually 64.75mm. That makes a 830 kit, not 836.
