Windy City or Bust!
« on: January 13, 2006, 05:12:12 PM »
Heffay's girlfriend here, while Heffay furiously packs.  Didn't know it at 10 am this morning, but we are going to Chicago.  There was a sweet deal on Ebay just begging to be impulsively bid upon, and so we did.  I am now the almost-owner of a sweet '87 EX500 (white).  I know it's not a SOHC-4 but it's still pretty awesome.  We attempted to borrow large vehicles from multiple friends and family, were denied, and suceeded in renting one super cheap (courtesy of Heffay's wise ol' age).  Got off work, got some munchies and CDs, and off we go.  We'll be back just in time for school to start and to get my cast off (doesn't mean I won't drive her, I'll just chicken arm the throttle or something  ;)).  Here's to adventure! ;D

that's a lovely drive you have ahead of you...until you get to Kansas, that is  ;D

enjoy the ride! ...actually Kansas might be kinda fun to tear across on a bike - the faster the better...
