What's in a name?
« on: January 14, 2006, 09:22:24 PM »

            Hey 6pkrunner,
Did you have a 6pack Road Runner or did you pick the name cause you
liked them. Just wandering, I had a 69' Road Runner coupe 383 torqueflite.
Met a girl with a 69' gold and white Road Runner, got married about 4 months
later ( not pregnant), had to let one go (couldn't afford both) :'( . Dropped a 440
in it about 9 years later. Ended up having to sell it. :'(   Anyway, just wandered. Bill

dusterdude, you aren't going to believe this. 1st car- 56' Plymouth Savoy  2nd car- 58' Chevy Impala w/348 3rd car-1966 Dodge Charger (red w/white interior, 383, 4-sp, posi) 4th car-1969 Road Runner
Coupe (383 Torqueflite, light Blue {kind of like Richard Petty's}, ET Uni lug spoke mags 5th car- (got married & my wife had a) 1969 Road Runner 2dr hdtp (gold, 383 Torqueflite) 6th car- 1966 Charger
blue, 383, Torqueflite 7th car- 73' VW "The Thing" 8th car- 1976 Volare' Road Runner 9th car 84' Turismo 2.2 10th car-74' Dodge Royal Monaco 4-dr, 440 Interceptor, Torqueflite, 100amp alt., 150mph
speedometer, high output oil pump, rear doors had no linkage to the inside handles, spotlight, little-bitty hubcaps w/holes in them ( get the message, Ex- Arkansas State Police Car) 5,000lb car that would run. I've gone too far already, so I won't go any further. My fantasy car would be hard to chose (Hemi powered SuperBird or Daytona 69', not the front wheel drive), AAR Cuda or Challenger TA, Hemi or
440 6pk Cuda or Challenger, 69' Road Runner w/440 6pk or Hemi, I could go on & on plus I wouldn't turn down one of those performance V-10 Vipers either)     Sorry I took up so much space guys.  Bill
