you got it man, i like for the bike to stand out from the crowd, even at night. itd be a travesty for someone to see it at night from far away and think its a stock harley bagger

Ehh fork seals arn't that bad to do and their cheap.  I just brillo paded the excess rust away and then did a coat or two of rust inhibiting primer followed by some gloss black.

FYI the rustolium "rust tough" zink paint works great.  I cleaned mine up and did a coat of primer and then painted gloss black that was 3 years ago and I store my bike outside.  Still looks good and rust never came back.

ive got quite a few options as far as paint goes, but for now i think i'll feed the rust and let it grow, maybe give it a name or something.. my landlord doesn't allow dogs
