thanks guys, the respect is well appreciated. The astute viewer will notice some of the finer points of the bike, including the rusty chain and rusty spokes, and leaky forks (I'm fairly sure ive got no oil left in em)

Ehh fork seals arn't that bad to do and their cheap.  I just brillo paded the excess rust away and then did a coat or two of rust inhibiting primer followed by some gloss black.

FYI the rustolium "rust tough" zink paint works great.  I cleaned mine up and did a coat of primer and then painted gloss black that was 3 years ago and I store my bike outside.  Still looks good and rust never came back.

ive got quite a few options as far as paint goes, but for now i think i'll feed the rust and let it grow, maybe give it a name or something.. my landlord doesn't allow dogs
