Speedo/Tach gauge light question.
« on: February 27, 2010, 08:48:37 PM »
Hey guys, I just got my '78 550 and need a little help with the gauges (among lots of other things). The previous owner had some mismatched terrible looking gauges on there, so I picked up some period correct ones from the junkyard. The only problem is that there is no sign of the little rubber pieces and the sockets for the lights for these gauges. I have just the gauges with no wiring. Can I source these missing electrical bits anywhere or am I SOL?

Nip back to the wreckers yard, they unplug in the headlight so you wont be cutting his loom to bits.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Unfortunately they weren't pulled directly from a bike, I found em in a box. The hunt continues. At least it seems to be something easy to disconnect?
