Don't think this has been posted here.

Nice bike...interesting marketing approach
Not sure I would be advertising the throttle lag tho'

Honda must have done a long customer survey with me to find out just what I would like in my next bike, but I can't remember now.    I sure hope they come to the US.

It's not a cruiser and it doesn't do 200 miles an hour. Honda probably has no plans to release in the US for those two reasons. ...which sucks...

I got an idea, Honda should tune it to do 200mph and call it a sport cruiser. It's called marketing, I'm sure they've herd of it. I want that bike!

Maybe their thinking will change.
There was apprehension about the CB750 SOHC way back when, but history tells a different story.
The timing of the release of this new machine together with the money market situation, could and more than likely have had something to do with Honda's current decisions, but things will, and are going to get a lot better.

If that comes to the US my next addition to the stable has been found!
You'd think Honda's video would have a better buffer rate tho...

I did a little research and found some prices:

MSRP
 CB1100<Type I> CB1100 <Type I>  997,500円(消費税抜き本体価格  950,000円) 997,500 yen (JPY 950,000 yen excluding tax)
CB1100<Type I>ABS CB1100 <Type I> ABS  1,071,000円(消費税抜き本体価格  1,020,000円) 1,071,000 yen (JPY 1,020,000 yen excluding tax)

A non ABS version will be $11,171 US!!!  Over $13,000 for ABS!!!  Well, I thought I wanted it...

In 1972 I paid $1350 for a new CB 500 K, My first house was 22,500 two years later.  Local builders get about 164,000 for a similar home today.

Extrapolating I get the value to be about 7.25:1

7.25 x $1350=$9787 for a new CB 500, an 1100 has to be worth about 20% more or $11745, just about right. at 11,171...

That long video had many references to us middle aged baby boomers,40-50+ year olds who grew up on these bikes etc.I can't imagine that they would not try to capitalize on the huge American market which is bulging with us Baby Boomers,  eeer old timers  :)

Maybe if they make it shake and rattle like a Hardley they could sell them here?

I've wanted this bike since I first heard about it.

This video just reinforces it.

If they bring it to our shores, I will buy one.  Make mine the "Type I "
