At 1:00 PM the 5th official BC/WA SOHC meeting will commence in the bar upstairs. It could be a short meeting as the reading of the 2005-2010 minutes should not take long ::)

...

Drinking on Sunday? at 1:00pm....  what bar...and how far from the event is said drinking to occur?

Swap meet consists of large Hockey arena, and a curling arena, with windows and a bar above..Sometimes a 3rd room..

right above the tables and bike show area...

Right above my table where I was trapped last year, looking up every so often, and waving towards where they were sitting last year , drinking beer..

The meet was great! Lots of SOHC4's. I should have taken more pictures! I missed the 1:00 meeting because of seeing so many friends in the parking lot. Seaweb's Tracy looked great, lots of chatter about my K1, saw a magnificent red K0 and very very nice cafe beside it. Lots of people and bikes. My friends wanted to leave for the 2:00 ferry so I bailed early, too early.

I was mostly inside trying to sell, so I missed the parking lot show.
Help out transporting a Kawasaki 400 belt drive back to the Okanagan for gas money & sold a few things & ending up breaking even covering my cost of going down there. We also took back more than we took down. ;D

I am pretty sure that red cafe was the one I saw last year,, I think I really pissed the guy off. I asked if it was a CR style bike and he said yeah, I noticed it was a 77 or 78, the one with the turned number boss. I pointed it out, I said this is the latest of the late 750s, I am wondering why you would use that to build a bike based on the earliest ones.. ??? I dont think he liked that..

Anyway I completely missed the outside stuff.
Saw a cool 70s BMW cafe as we got near there.. loads of bikes everywhere..

We got a few cool deals, a 750 motor model. a good breadbox aircleaner,  bunch of 750 bits.. and a bunch of odds-n-sods..including a 72 750 lower end and head.. that 1080 and 754 will have to fight over.. the guy actually gave it to us, but I got him down to 20 bux... ;D ;)

Another cool thing I got was a wheel clamp, both sides and screw/tightener.., off a bike lift ..for 20 bux..

We had a very brief, meet-n-greet.. upstairs.....only a few showed up.. seaweb and his buddy, a member from acrosss the border.. forget the name, had a cool 750four logo on his shirt..
I also met Magpie, and at least a few more members, some of which only post occassionaly..

 It was a great meet..
