Yeah I saw your comments on that thread Bobby....not sure why anyone would want to destroy a perfectly good seat lock

You gave him a fine solution (which worked on my k8 as well) and he either didn't see it or didnt want to hear it...

Hey Dennis, who the fark are the Hungry Horses MC, and why are you "Meat-O"? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

LMAO! Actually it stemmed from an old thread around here that linked you to a site that takes your name and converts it to your 1%'er nickname and biker gang name.

I have just been far too lazy to change it over the last 2 years or whatever since it was originally funny.

Thanks Dennis, it was not the guy, he got the point. I just get tired of people who don't read and just throw up some half assed thing they did. A lot of time I check a thread I know something about. If there are lot of good answers there I move on, no need to add my 2 cents by agreeing.

BTW what is that car in you Avatar, looks familiar, but I cannot place it?

Looks like a Dart.
I thought so too, but something about the front is different.

I am fairly sure it is a Mopar Bastard or Mopar Mutt judging from all the changes...officially though it is a 1970 Dart Swinger.

Dennis

there is actually another thread I started since getting it into my posession. If anyone cares it's:
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=64870.msg710993#msg710993 it's a slow one due to cash flow but I am having fun with it!

Looks like a 70/71 grill.  Other than that the same as my 72 DART.   The Demon/Dusters (or dart sports)  had a fastback style.
As far as the how anybody does there own bike I dont care.  I dont like to see something good and original cut up and no parts rescued.  My race bike could be considered a bob but it could go original easy enough. No it isnt flat black either. My G/F bought a bike mag the other day and it has 4 pages of small pics before and after. A cm 400 caught my eye. It and all the other after pics was all flat black and all looked the same except for the engines.
