New to the SOHC business
« on: March 15, 2010, 08:47:53 AM »
Hello all.  I've been a DOHC guy, owning almost too many CB900Fs to count with 750Fs and 1100Fs mixed in between.  I just picked up a decent running CB350F and and looking forward to getting it on the road.  Come to think of it, I LITERALLY picked it up.  These little monsters are light as anything!

She'll be good at new after I get new tires, fix the caliper, replace the blinker, swap the top triple clamp, straighten the headlight and put on new handle bars! (ugh, did I just buy another project?)

Happy riding

Dan

Nice looking machine! Got any pictures out in the day light? That looks to be in really good shape.

It's all there, but it has some rough spots that don't show up in the photo.  I'm hoping for nice weather this weekend so I can see it in the daylight myself!

Here's some more pictures.  Notice the broken top triple clamp, previous owner claims he rode like that for the last 12 years. ???  You can see the kink on the right side of the handle bars if you look closely.

Here's a daylight picture, but I bet not what you were expecting!

I want to buy a 900 from '80 to '83.  Any leads or suggestions are welcome.  I have a 550F and want something for long distance and I love the way those bikes look.
