How to rake a Honda

so i am wanting to rake my 650, I have been looking for a pre-made raked triple tree but haven't came across one yet. Also I haven't found much info here on raking bikes, did i overlook anyting any and all help is appreciated

There is no way in the world i would use raked clamps, they throw your trail out { often into negative trail} and can be extremely dangerous, probably why you can't buy any....  Rake the frame, it is a hell of a lot safer.. If done properly that is..

there is a site called chopperbuilders handbook there you will anything and everything you ever wanted to know about this kind of stuff.

that site is for SOHC 750's only. if you post it's for a 650, it WILL be deleted.

raked tree's are for correcting trail, not for the raked out look. you will have neg trail. i know cause i've done it and ended up with -4 trail on a sohc 750. that's from a 10/10 setup.

the way i rake stock necks is, cut right behind the neck and wedge it. first i put a piece between the bottom of the neck and the gusset then insert the wedge.
