I am building my F1 up a little and could use some cam advice.
The plan is to install an 811 piston kit and do an undetermined amount of head work (at min. a valve job, maybe some homespun porting, stainless valves). I don't need a rocket but I want the most bang for my buck since I'm there anyways. I think what I really want is really good mid range power. I know I'll need springs.
So to anyone that has put in a hotter cam, what did you choose (lift/duration) and why? Did you get what you wanted?
I am liking the CX .370L .282D cam at the moment. It it worth it to go to the .290L?
