CB500 Cam

I am using parts from two engines in my CB500 rebuild(one 1971, one 1972)...one cam has R6 stamped on it, the other has R1 stamped on it.  Do these mean anything other than a lot number?  Does it mean there is some difference in cam specs?  Both cams look decent, trying to decide which one to use.  Thanks, Kirby

Use the best one as there are no differences in profile.
