I fondled it!!

My bike has been in storage with my local shop since about mid October, and it's been a long, long winter.  Spring is right around the corner and it's been on my mind like crazy. 

At 4:50 this afternoon, my boss tells me he needs me to do one more service call.  Normally I would be a little choked about that, but it turns out it's at the storage space.  Yes!!!!!!!!! 

It was so good to to see it again, looked great, and ready to ride!! 

Made my day and I had to share. ;D  Lenny.

I rode mine today for the first time in almost 3 weeks.. this damn snow finally melted.

And i got a speeding ticket. FML.

Hoping the snow is gone in a couple of weeks.  March is usually a full of surprises around here though, so I'm probably getting overly optomistic.

hay lenny, am 400 kms north of you and it smells like spring ( gotta be optimistic) when i get outa here am takin my triumph out for a boot, dont care if its freezing rain. cheers.

i rode my bike for the first time today. first time ever really. the weather here is mad so I had too.

its missing a front brake but i was just idling around the block. hope t bay gets the weather we have, you'll be riding in no time.

Weather was in the plus double digits all weekend.  The snow is almost completely gone and the main roads are all clear.  Grabbing my bike from the storage space tomorrow!!

 Saw three bikes out on Saturday, all of them were female riders.  Shows who's really keen around here eh?

Whereabouts are you Zig?

working at mine north of you, just flew out and am in t bay headed for the valhallah for a beer. home to the bike (i mean the wife) tomorrow morn. next time round we should meet up, have a beer and tell some lies.
there is NO snow in t bay!! and is like 10 degrees C. wow!! did ya get the bike out??

Ha ha ha, nice!!  Rode mine home after work today, was pretty frigid, but well worth it.  Fired right up, just had to fill the tires and ride 'er home.  Tune up in the next few days, picked up some progressive springs for the front end.

My heart goes out to you Northern hemisphere guys, I just finished cleaning out the fish pond (muster 21+1dead un) and think I got sunburned! ;D
Wading in knee deep water in just a pair of swimming trunks, hot-damn I love Summer......it's actually supposed to be Autmn here right now but our seasons are so mixed up.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I'm jealous.  I hope to make it to NZ one day.  Summer also means sailboat racing for me,  and not many countries are as rabid about sailing as the Kiwis.
