Maybe the best reason to pass Health Care Reform.
« on: March 09, 2010, 12:23:30 PM »
I lifted this straight out of a news article.

"If Democrats didn't have all the incentive they needed to pass health care reform already, then conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh may have provided the final push they needed by vowing to flee the country if the reform bill is passed.

Responding to a caller who asked him where he would go for health care if Congress enacts reform, Limbaugh replied,

I don't know. I'll just tell you this, if this passes and it's five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented -- I am leaving the country. I'll go to Costa Rica."

P.S.
Maybe the irony is lost on Rush but Costa Rica has universal health care. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Personally, I like my money and I'm fond of being able to choose what I want to pay for. Not like taxes don't suck hard enough anyway, but the company I work for couldn't begin to pay for the coverage being proposed, and neither could I. I really don't feel like doing jail time for not purchasing something that at my age is really not necessary. BTW, I do have a HSA with enough to cover most circumstances. It is called planning, I do it; and I don't really feel like paying for somebody else choosing not to do the same.

This is the humor section and your post was not very funny. ;D  Now maybe you were not around when we had the raging health care debate so we don't want to start that again cause the thread will get shut down.  Now I thought my post was pretty funny.  The idea of making a fool out of Rush using his own words is hilarious.  Granted it's like shooting fish in a barrel but what the hell. ;D

I find the fact that the republican party can't seem to understand that capitalism will always create the haves and the have nots...pretty damn funny!  I'm mean I laugh all the time when I hear about people who make too much for medicaid but too little to afford their own health care......big deep belly laughs I tell you.  I'm mean these people should just plan for there health emergencies like the rest of us...you know put some of that "extra" money aside for medical costs instead of blow it on things like....I don't know....bills!   HAHAHAHAHAHA   Please help me...I can't stop. :) :) :) :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I know.....I should not have posted that, but I could not help myself.....
