Are these cam towers worn out?

Hi guys.

The project get's bigger every time I clean apart. Can anyone with an experienced eye tell me if I need to replace my cam holders?

if you have a telescoping bore gauge set (borrow one if not) and check the size of the bore at at least 3 positions then with the same micrometer you measured the bore gauge with, measure the cam bearing journals.

Hi Matt.I have seen and used worse without failure.If the scuffed area I see in your picture is slight,I would suggest plastigage the 4 bearings and if you have less than 0.0083'' or 0.21mm [from oem manual],I think you would be good to go.If cost or availability is not an issue,new  may let you sleep better .   Rock On

hang onto the others in case of emergency. i never throw parts out unless theyre obviously not usable even a little bit, like the shelf full of pistons from my race bug's cylinder #3

when i rebuilt my motor i used a bunch of hondaman tricks on the k4 750
