Custom American Tail Lights

Hey Guys,

I have a 1978 CB750K that I'm customizing.  I've removed the rear fender and there's no fairing on the seat itself so I'm looking for a small tail light that can mount directly to the frame under the seat.

All of Steve Carpenters stuff is for the fender or in the seat, and I've found some amazing lights in Australia with Vanem and in Europe with the Wrenchmonkies, but I don't want to deal with all the international crap. Does anyone have any suggestions for US dealers?

if you like carpys stuff, just get you a small sheet of 1/8" or so thick aluminum and cut/bend a bracket that will mount the light where you want it. i ended up doing that and it worked out great. and you can even polish the aluminum plate after youre done cutting and grinding.

I thought this guy's Harbor Freight LED marker light looked simple. Wired with a resistor It apparently works as a break and a tail light.

There are truck supply stores you can get many strealined shapes of small marker  lights, too.
