Is this a K0 rear fender?
« on: March 16, 2010, 08:03:13 PM »
Hi! From my bent and broken parts supply. It has 2 mounting holes without the nuts welded on to the inside of the fender. The tire information sticker looks to be right for a 750. It's a mess but if it's a early 750 fender it may be worth trying to get straightened and rechromed.
Thanks in advance.
Cliff.

No, but I should. I hate throwing things out. I'm finding that the more I think I know about the early 750's, the less I really know, if you know what I mean.  ??? ::) So, I don't want to get rid of stuff before consulting the experts. I should have asked them about removing stuck gas cap latch pins too, dammit. :-[
How's the collection doing?
Cheers,
Cliff.

Warming up here in Michigan. Nice day today to start warming the shop, cement etc, no dew on the metal. Thought some machines would start appearing in adds etc, but have not found my pretty red 71 yet. Do you want to split up those TWINS yet  ;D   ???

Sorry, the twins will stay together. The only thing that may separate or better yet join them is a blue/green K0. Hey - triplets! It's getting warmer here too although the wind is howling and it's pouring rain. The Goldwing will go on the road this week, and one of the twins next month for a show 'n shine/swap meet that kind off starts the season off here.  Seaweb and I usually are there to hold up the SOHC4 end of things. A sandcast 750 won best in show last year.

Hi Yep thats a K0 rear fender, the tail light mount bracket is different too, has the two screws and a third hole for the wires, These used to flop around as the rubber got old and Honda changed it to the three bolt with wires in the centre on the K1 worth hanging on to,, TC

We park side by each too, although I did park in a bad spot. That spot's not from my bike.
