GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
« on: March 10, 2010, 05:05:17 PM »
I ordered a replacement part for my bike off a trader on Trademe, not an expensive one $11 but one I needed, paid up front and waited.
I'm not an impatient sort of person so after 2 weeks I got back to the trader and asked if he had forgotten about me.
He apologised and said if it hadn't arrived by today to get back to him.
Well it didn't arrive and on contacting the trader again he said it probably got lost in the mail but that he could replace it if I paid 50% of a new one!!!!!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
OK it's only $11 so I'd be losing my original $11 plus $6.50, no big deal.
But I'm a man of conscience and the fact that I had paid for a product, not received it then was tapped for more money grates against my honest nature.....oh yeah he inferred that I could not prove to him that I hadn't received it either! >:( >:( >:(
So I'm left without the part I need, $11 poorer and all I can do is leave bad feedback on his profile. :(
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

You got a circuit board for a Police siren in there? :D
I bought one off this guy and it worked then failed so I thought what the heck it's only a few bucks I'll get another one......I thought repeat custom might be appreciated seeing as how his first one bit the bullet.
So here's to you laya zarif, I hope you put my stolen money towards a one way ticket home to camel jockey land where you piss the US Marines at a check point off and they ventilate your useless hide with their M4's!!!!!!! ;D

Nah Caveman, the guy is a complete ass and speaks like an Al Kaeda hitman ha ha......FBI I think I found Bin Laden for ya! ;D
Scunny, I've been looking on Ebay and the Chinese make something superior for less money so I'll probably get one of those.
My old one is toast cos the deekhead put the wrong component in the kitset and it fried the transistor (which is unprocurable in NZ).

What a bunch of BULL! Makes me wonder how many others he does that way, to "Pad" the income. I know he didn't get You for much YET, but it all adds up.

Had a similar deal with less money involved AND not a significant part, just something I wanted. I had ordered a keychain that said GTX on it, for my car. I waited for a decent amount of time and then got in touch with him through ebay. He got back with me and acknowledged it didn't seem to have gone through to me. So, he apologize and sent another one and said that IF the 1st one should ever reach me, keep it. I sent him another message saying that I appreciated his efforts and hated that he had to be out the extra. He responded that, he appreciated that AND the fact that I responded back to him with my comments, made him feel better. I thanked him for that and within a short time, I got the 2nd one. I gave hin his feedback AND a couple of weeks later let him know that the 1st one had never shown up, he thanked me once again and that was that.

Crying Shame YOURS didn't go that way. :-\

Is it just me or is this happening more?????
I ordered parts from a member of this forum back in October last year. They never arrived. I contacted him & he agreed to resend at no cost. Very kind of him I thought. He said he didn't ship international with tracking because he thought it was too dear. I offered to pay tracked shipping considering he was so kind to offer replacement. My offer wasn't taken up. Parts never arrived.
Contacted him again & he said he'd refund. My credit card statements still don't show the refund. He also said he'd supply a third time if I repurchased & supplied an address in the USA who would post em on.
He appears to be a well respected member of this forum & I'm not about to disclose his identity for that reason.
I've written the loss off, I can get the stuff locally, but I did want to support somebody from this forum though.
Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators.
We haven't met yet.

That's no good Frosty, try him again, we all get busy on here and the forum is wide spread so sometimes it gets lost in the translation.
