I'da done a wheelie into his chest, two donuts around his twitching corpse, then I'd morph my arm into a crazy gatling-gun and blow away that patrol car!!!

oh... I forgot to mention, I'm a robot from the future with the ability to teleport anywhere in time and space.

here's a pic of me from the past.
everything I say is pure speculation and
I have no idea what I'm talking about  ._.

Patriotictex, I think you need to watch the vid again. You do not see the marked car drive up till AFTER the rider is off his bike.
You apparently want to assume the biker was breaking every law and practically deserved to be shot.
Also, if things happened the way you think they did, the unmarked driver should not have needed to pull his gun at all.

the crazed gunman cut the biker off hard, freaking him out in 2 ways.

dude cuts me off and pulls a gun? I'd freak out and haul ass thinking it was a case of road rage.

I don't know if the biker saw the cop behind him till "el-kabong" there, touched his windshield anyways.

err,the link in the first post only shows the cop getting out of the car,.,i havent seen the "chase",the cop gets out first and as his two feet land, then the gun is drawn,(i feel he was carefull with the firearm),however pointed down,no one gets to be a plain clothes without some back ground experience,,these guys deal with people who have lost all respect,,,for themselves,,their closest friends ,family,,,through drug use ,,crack /speed /what ever,,these guys ,plain clothes,,no matter how sawn off they are,,,keep bad guys out of your kitchen,,and your kids bed rooms,,and your motorhome, and your shop, and your street,,drug affected people WILL react out of the ordinary, and hes taking care and caution,,the gun sure stopped any foolish attempt to flee again,he has seen alot more #$%* than you or I,,the cop aint a "learner",,try that stuff here in australia ,,in the state of victoria,,theyll ram you off that bike!!!,,,you want a cop chase???your choice,,mind your head as you get in the back seat,if you dont stop,,and they let you run,,,what sort of message is that sending to the bad guys?

And I doubt Deputy Fife felt he needed to potentially use deadly force to protect himself or the citizenry from Mr. Squid.

Obvious overreaction.

Badge should have been brandished in plain site the way he did with the gun.
Gun should have stayed in it's holster with his hand on it letting you know what COULD happen if Sir Squidly gets like rabbit.

A lot of overreaction on his part there.

Best post in the thread.

Jesus #$%*ing christ, clearly she was never taught the concepts of muzzle control- that or she didn't pay attention on that day of cop academy.

Well although the majority of you have no respect for laws and agree with the first guy breaking every traffic law in the book and putting the public in danger didn't deserve to be chased by a marked unit and stopped by the officers it's nice to see we can at least agree that this female officer is a darn moron.  Unlike ya'll i've actually been broadsided by an idiot on a crotch rocket which completely destroyed my truck and killed the guy on the bike.  So i'm going to still have to disagree with all of you that the guy breaking the law was the guy putting innocent lives at risk, not the guy protecting innocent people.

where the #$%* do you get the idea youre about the only one that respects law enforcement?!? most of if not all of us do, it's some of the bad cops that we disrespect, NOT all police, just the individuals that tend to abuse authority. perhaps as you mature you'll begin to understand that. exactly like me saying most 25 year olds are dumbasses, which is totally untrue.

Your level of immaturity is obvious, some people never grow up and that's o/k it's just a fact of nature.  With little life experiences to learn from you didn't make the choice to be ignorant it just happened.  If you’d like to reference the information it’s referred to as the learning perspective, a known psychological fact.
I didn't state that all people on this forum disrespect the law, only the people in this thread who constantly refer to our nation’s brave law enforcement officers as gutless pigs and other slanderous remarks they managed to come up with from their limited vocabulary.  It’s very funny considering these are the same people who call 9-1-1 as soon as bad things happen, yet these officers who everyone is bashing still answer everyone’s calls for help indiscriminately 24 hours a day no matter what.

Geez Bucky, with a majority of the posters here commenting that the cop deserved to recieve a clutch popping wheelie to the chest, who is it that needs to mature here? Beside's, Patrioticex is what?, a whopping 5-6 years younger than you!!?  I tend to agree with the mans view. I suggest you re-read the thread...Back away from the cat-nip Bucky!  ;)

Reality check mate, i have just reread the whole thread after reading your comments and i think its you who needs to pull back a bit. No one is bashing "all law enforcement officers" and if you blindly believe that all cops are good you live in lala land.
Most if not all comments are based on what the unmarked cop did in his immediate response and to me it looks like he was panicking by pulling his gun before identifying himself, definitely not what he is trained to do . I can think of many situations where if that guy {cop} did the exact same thing he would have been shot and questions asked later.
I don't care who you are, if some guy jumped out of an unmarked car and pulled a gun on me with no identification produced what so ever then i would have { or would have wanted to} defended myself and if that meant shooting first then thats what i would have done.......how was the guy on the bike supposed to know he wasn't being jacked, or being dealt with by some vigilante moron ?   I would love to know how much "maturity" you show under the same circumstance. The bloke on the bike was an idiot, i see no one here condoning his actions as far as what he did in traffic, what i see here is a pile of people reacting to what the stupid cop did, reacting without thinking or applying the procedures he was taught at the academy, if that cop chooses to do the same thing as he has done here, in the future,  i can guarantee you someone will eventually beat him to the draw. He was as stupid as the female cop in the video......poor gun security.  Blindly defending all cops is ignorant, the majority do the right thing but there are plenty of corrupt and cowboy cops out there just as there is here in Aus....
